Meet Matua Kevin

Teacher. Storyteller. Founder of Te Ata Global.

After years of working with tamariki in Aotearoa, I saw a growing need for resources that honour culture authentically while remaining practical for busy educators.

Kōrero & Create™ was born from real classroom experiences, shaped by Te Ao Māori values, and designed to help educators create learning that matters.

My goal is simple:

To support educators with tools that deepen learner voice, strengthen identity, and make meaningful learning easier to create.

Our Vision…

Our vision is a future where indigenous knowledge and innovation come together through story, learning, and meaningful connection — across oceans and generations.

Te Ata Global exists to support educators, learners, leaders, and communities through culturally grounded resources, storytelling, and learning experiences that put people — and their identity — first.

The philosophy Behind Te Ata Global

We believe meaningful creation begins with slowing down, thinking deeply, and staying connected to culture and lived experience.

Our work supports people to explore ideas, stories, and learning in ways that are intentional, inclusive, and grounded.
